Our story

Three generations, one honey house

Nectar began with eight hives behind a farmhouse and a grandfather who insisted good honey needs nothing done to it. We still work that way: we move the hives to the bloom, wait for the bees to cap the frames, and strain the honey once — cold — before it goes into glass.

Nothing is heated, blended to a formula, or thinned with syrup. That is why our wildflower tastes different in a dry summer than a wet one, and why we would not want it any other way.
